Laying The Foundation To Create High Demand Niche Products And Services

Brainstorming- Part 9

B. Customer Feedback

Another area to focus on to improve your results is to seek more customer feedback.

Your customers are not only the final judges in determining whether your niche idea will succeed or fail. They can also be your best consultants. They can offer you insights the best Harvard MBA could never give you.

Many times by simply asking your customers what they like and dislike can save
you hundreds or even thousands of dollars.

Your customers will also feel closer and have more interest if you ask for their advice. This leads us to our next area of improvements, which is generating word-of-mouth advertising.

C. Word-Of-Mouth Advertising

The best form of advertising is not the slick T.V commercials, or the sports star endorsed ad. The best form is still and always will be word-of-mouth. In fact, the best those million dollar a minute commercials can do is to start people talking about it. That’s word-of-mouth.

Word-of-mouth gets people to recommend your business, product, or service to their friends and family.

People tend to trust what other people say about a product or service far more than they do an ad.

So, anything you can do to generate some word-of-mouth advertising will be one of the best investments you can make.

In fact, ways to generate more word-of-mouth advertisement would be a great brainstorming subject.

Here are a few suggestions you can use to generate word-of-mouth advertising. But don’t limit yourself to these ideas alone.

Take the time to brainstorm an ongoing
supply of ideas, but feel free to use the following ideas to get started.

1. Give away free samples.
2. Offer a free trial.
3. Offer discounts on certain days of the month.
4. Offer a free demonstration.
5. Hold a sweepstakes contest or drawing.
6. Pay customers a finders fee for referrals.
7. Provide incentives for your customers to return by offering discount coupons, frequent buyer discounts, and other incentives.

Remember, it’s not enough to just do the above suggestions. But you must do the above suggestions and tell  lots of people what you’re doing. This helps create word-of-mouth advertising.

Incentives are good, they can get people to try your product. But to get them to recommend your product or service to others you have a good product  or service, fanatical customer service and a fair price.
